SWIFTWAVE!! A bike camping trip to remember! Adventure and Community.

Join Concrete Trails (Todd) and crew to participate in this annual global call to bike camping in connection with Swift Industries. We’ll also be meeting up with the BikePOCING crew from NYC hosting a Swift campout at this same time!! HEATWAVE!!

Details:

Depart Brooklyn New York on Friday, June 19th and bike aprox 65 miles East to Cathedral Pines County Park. Camp for one night and depart Saturday afternoon, riding North to Wildwood State Park. Camping both Saturday and Sunday nights is optional.

YES, you have the option of leaving on Sunday or Monday via train. Campsites are reserved through Monday 12pm.

(Train is biking distance 10-15 miles - LIRR to Jamaica or NY Penn station).

Friday Day 1 biking = 65 miles

Saturday Day 2 biking = 15 miles

NOTE: Campsites will be reserved in advance for your crew, but food will need to be purchased by participants. Food stops and daily dining to be announced. There’s plenty of food nearby both locations where we will be camping.

2nd Note: Full bathrooms and showers at both campsites. Potable water at both campsites. Beach access at Wildwood campsite only.

Participants will need a bikepacking rig carrying water, snacks, tent, sleeping needs, extra clothes, bathing suit (optional).

The $25 fee is to secure a spot at the campsites, plus fire ring rental and firewood at Wildwood State Park.
